Hi Grant, You are right. That's how I have been assigning shortcuts to various applications. I generally create an icon for a specific application in my desktop. Then I move to that particular icon and press ault+enter and get to the shortcut option by pressing the tab key. At that point, one can assign the shortcut key. This applies to Microsoft word as well. Traditionally, of course, one would locate the menu item, go to the Shortcut tab under properties and tab to "Shortcut key". > However, for menu options such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, etc., this process will not work correctly; all of these options are grayed out. In fact, the only way I've found to function is to create another shortcut for that application myself, then assign the hotkey to that. > > Grant > > To post a message to the list, send it to jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send a message to jfw-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word unsubscribe in the subject line. > > To post a message to the list, send it to jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send a message to jfw-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word unsubscribe in the subject line.
