Hi Lisa,

I tried this (at least I thought I did) but it seemed to install it anyway. It
put some program called Weathercast, a program called WhenYou Save, and I think
one other one which I can't think of the name at the moment. So you don't get
any popup windowswith the titles of any of these programs? If not, then I'll
probably try uninstalling and reinstalling the software. Just to be sure, you
are using Ares P2P right? I ask this because there is a program just called
Ares, then there is Ares P2P which is what I'm using.

Michael

  Hi all,
With this program, during installation, if you take careful notice of what it
is installing, you can choose not to install the programs which are adware. I
am using this, and have weeded out programs which are additional adware to the
actual p to p program.
  Hope this helps.

    Hi Everybody,

I had mentioned before how I liked Ares P2P as an Jaws accessible P2P
application. While that's still true, I can't recommend anyone purchasing the
Pro version. I've sent a couple of emails with questions to the makers of the
software and I've yet to get a response from them. I wanted them to answer my
questions first before I purchased the Pro version from them. It's too bad
too because I really like the software. While the free version works very
well, it installs adware and I don't care for that at all. Oh well, back to
the drawing board I guess.

    Michael
