Hi,
Great points. I was merely asking as the things are lighter and hence probably a bit less substantial.

However, for those needing to place visual information (MAGIC users) in a specific location,
the rotatable monitor could be a useful thing which is why I brought it up.

I still think it would work out cheaper to by a notebook. You cna always then sit it on it side or something out of the way. Here in the Uk you can get special laptop stands, designed to make them more ergonomical to use, and the stands allow the heat to be distirbuted better. They also have built in USB hubs so you get a load more USB 2 poera.

Hi,
One can use a USB external keyboard. And because one can revolvethe screen or have it facing 90 degrees to the side if one wanted, one can make space. For MAGIC users, the screen can be turne around d 180 degrees for better viewing ifthat applies.

Thus far, it seems the tablet PCs I have seen cost more but they do use X P Home if t hat is important avoiding JAWS Pro. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Peter Holdstock" <peterholdstock@xxxxxxx>

But aren't tablet PC's touch screen? If you could see to know where to click, why would you need JAWS? Excuse my nievety (and bad spelling). I'd rather just go for a notebook PC instead.

Hi,
Tablet PCs (not cheap) but small are pretty interesting machines. And they run XP Home avoiding buying JAWS Pro.

Any one using JAWS with a tablet P C?
