Only the very top part of the province has polar bears however we have a rather
large enclosure which includes a lake where we house orphaned polar bears. The
intent is to rehabilitate them to the wild but truth is, once they miss that
first two crucial years with their mom they don't ever learn independence in
the wild.

In some of the most northern communities in Quebec, Ontario and Manitoba for
certain and probably many of the other provinces it is necessary to kill adult
bears which cruise the communities scavenging for food. These become food for
some of the more traditional native communities but most places they are a very
dangerous nuisance. for these and other reasons cubs often become orphaned and
three such bears are now a local tourist attraction.

To return this to the theme of this list, think of it as a slightly different
life support for a very powerful pair of

claws
...
and of course
...
jaws!
