Did you check the Windows Event Log to see if any new errors were logged?

Subject: AllInPlay Crazy Eights and Latest JFW Incarnation

I have been noticing a strange occurrence when playing All In Play's Crazy
Eights since I upgraded my JFW to the latest incarnation of 5.0. Now
whenever I start the game, I hear the Windows default beep. I never heard
this before upgrading, and was wondering if anyone knows what might cause
this. There are no error messages I'm aware of.
