Folks, another workaround for this problem is that there's a full version
available in the Jaws headquarters section of the Freedom Scientific website
that contains the necessary patch. You want to look for a file called
j7.10.500u.exe. Make sure it's the version tailored to your system.

  Hi,
following advice from a list member I ran a Jaws repair. I now have the patch
installed.
  Max.

I went to the help menu for the updates, and there was just one, so I tried
to update it. I got the following error message after installation began:

     Setup Package Error
The setup package could not install the required component JAWSPatch. The
    process will now exit.
    OK

    Anybody know what that's about?
