Hi mostafa.

firstly,
Inthane, could we plee'eee'ee'eese.
possibly put that Basic's of scripting manual itself right there up on the
great site you've got with everything else, all in one place?
I can't even find this puppy myself now in my jaws installation, so can't
point the way to it for anyone else!
grrr!
now to you mostafa.

May I ask, have you as yet read and actually gone through the exercises in,
the whole basics of scripting documentation which ships with jaws, and can
usually be found, ... well,
somewhere, in the jaws installation folders?

if not, mostafa May I strongly encourage you to do this?
Two other resources which nmight help get you started, can be found on the
site the elf pointed you to in a previous message. one is a series of audio
lectures a guy called Jim Snowbarger put together, and the others is an
Electronic text set of lectures done by a guy called Victor.

make sure your email program is maximized before trying to hit enter on
these below URL's,
but, in case they help, the direct URL's for these are:

Audio lectures:
http://www.saomaicenter.info/OnlineCourse/JawsScript/JScriptAudioJimSnowbarger.zip

E-Text lectures:
http://www.saomaicenter.info/OnlineCourse/JawsScript/LecturesVictor.zip

I would strongly encourage you to jump into these resources first, and then
come to the list with direct issues you are seeking to solve, describing
what you have maybe done so far, and seeking assistance with the specific
hurdles and issues you face whilst practically seeking to apply the
knowledge your primarily gaining from these resources.
Since I can't help feeling it is possibly beyond the scope of the list, to
lead anyone through step by step with learning how to script from start to
finish?
This is of course not meant to be anything personal against you, or against
us helping each other out and sharing knowledge as we can.
i.e. I Realize I had not yet answered your response to my previous message
in reply to something you had raised.
I didn't mean to ignore this, I started replying to it, but, ... well the
thing is,
although I realize you desired to interact with me/people utilizing skype,
as a way of learning how to do this,
I just couldn't help but feel, for myself anyway, that this would perhaps
not be a very practical or long-term sustainable process for learning to
script, one on one as it were.
To me, whose not at all good at scripting myself yet,
Scripting is like learning a language, and one doesn't learn a language, and
then learn how to successfullly apply that language such that the other
party, in this case the computer, understands it fully, and carries out the
tasks you want, in a small amount of time.
what I'm trying to suggest is, the process in my view, takes a goodish long
time, and I'm not sure how many of us have the resources to dedicate the
kind of time necessary to do one on one teaching like that, as the primary
learning platform?

Would others care to comment upon this?
