wow! he's right! it is too? I never noticed this before, and it has never
impacted me at all. But, sure enough, version 8 reports pc, and version
10/11 reports virtual pc cursor as active in the Script manager! how odd. it
doesn't go away upon an insert+Z command either!

What exactly does this impact for you paul?
I wasn't familiar with the
textUnitRules, you spoke of in your email? would you care to share what
these do exactly, and how they help you in your scripting endeavors? which
you report are now being ignored?
I can't test it in version 9 unfortunately, as I've installed the homer
scripts in there, and they overRide the behaviour of alt+delete in the
script manager.
