It is possible in .NET Framework. There are screen and text metrics
functions. JAWS Script language is a very extensible through COM
interface. The problem, that currently it lacks of extensions.
I just now try to update Jamal Mazui's "homer" script library, which
handled edit and richedit textboxes very well in the old Windows era,
but today many of his functions are not working on Windows 10. And
mainly they not work with the new .NET-based textboxes. I have to write
a CM dll, which will be a wrapper around the .NET Framework's edit and
richedit assemblies, so it will be encapsulate their functionality.
By the way, Freedom's UIA handler also a COM-based solution to handle
UIa elements. It is nothing other, than a wrapper of .NET Framework's
UIA assemblies.

I don't think so. These apps are based on the new UI which use the
managed layer to display screen elements. The "managed layer", the .NET
classes makes possible to get the colors of unique screen pixels.
Currently JAWS Script language lacks the possiblility to use .NET
assemglyies natively. Or somebody should write a COM dll which wraps
that functionality of .NET managed classes...

Because if this is the case, it means that programming independently by

model, so no, we can't see the screen. So, the physical layout is
