When that happens to me, I press the applications key and then go to open in
new window. It seems to work.

Barbara,
Try holding down the shift key when you press enter on the link. If that
doesn't work try the ctrl key instead.

Okay, this is driving me mad, can anyone help?
Using JAWS 9 and Windows XP Pro. I have all pop-up blockers turned off.
However, when trying to open some links, I get the pop-up being blocked noise
and the link doesn't open. If I find the link with the JAWS cursor and hit the
left mouse button, then it works, but it's not always possible to find the link
with the JAWS cursor. So, what's going on? And how do I stop it before it
drives me completely round the bend???
