Go into Explorer, drop down the View menu and make sure either 'List' or
'Details is checked. Now go into 'Tools' and you should find an entry
entitled 'Folder Options'. Press enter on this and you should get a
multi-page dialog which you use to configure how you want to see information
presented. In the 'View' tab, there should be a button which says something
like 'Folder Views like current View, which you should press enter on.

Cheers

Chris

Subject: [jaws-uk] list view in windows explorer

Hi.

windows 98 se and jaws 4.5. when I'm navigating in windows explorer, I like
everything displayed in a list, one under the other. I know that alt +V
will do this. But it's not holding. Every so often, I go in there and it's
displaying items 4 across. I seem to remember having this issue when I was
at college, and sorting it out but can't remember how to make the setting
stick. It's driving me crazy. Any help sorting this one out is greatly
appreciated.

Thanks.

Jill.
