Hi Graham.

I know there was a driver originally published by gateway. It was available from the JFW website. It's a case of looking at the technical support notices. If you can't find it I can send it to you. It works with the Soundblaster Live cards.

Let me know.

Cheers

Graham

Subject: [jaws-uk] jaws sound problem

Hi all

One of my clients is experiencing what he describes as jaws not pronouncing certain letters such as t, p, v, b properly since the installation of a new
sound card. I don't know what the card is but seem to remember that there
was a fix for this kind of problem from some time back. I suspect its a
creative sound card as seem to remember that there were problems with jaws
with some of these historically and there was either a jaws fix or a
specific driver that needs to be used. Its jaws 9 under xp but he does also
have 5 installed and its behaving the same way for both versions. If
someone can point me to a solution that would be great. Cheers!

Graham
