[jaws-uk] jaws installation

hello
could someone advise me on jaws 14 professional install. i followed the jaws
install instruction, but my windows seven unexpectedly shut down , so i tried
to install it again, it seemed to work , but after turning on my laptop , i
found my computers software had been corrupted . do i need to turn off any
software or anti virus before trying again. there was an demo video interceptor
still installed.
any advice would be welcome
