Hi Paul, Firstly, it is Outlook Express 5, not *Outlook* 5. Outlook is a different program than Outlook Express. (And you are using Outlook Express 5.5, not5.0.) You could try a System Restore to a time when things were working better. that, however, will remove programs you installed since that date/time; so you would then need to reinstall such programs, preferably one by one, if you have to. Also, do a Compact All Folders in outlook express, message list:with Alt+f, f, f. It could take a few minutes. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Paul Roberts" <anorack@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, January 16, 2005 1:03 AM Subject: [jaws-uk] jaws crashing toomuch Hi all, Just lately, I have noticed that JAWS version 4.02 seems to crash and it is getting too frequent for my liking. Can someone please suggest a way of reducing this. Would like to stop all together butI know this is almost impossible. hope you can help. Also I am using Windows ME and outlook version 5(Where JAWS seems to like crashing the most). Also I have JAWS running as an application in that when I alt tab, I can click onto JAWS (hope I have explained that last point clearly enough).
