Hi Francis,

When in AVG, press f9. This will initiate the update process.

You will be asked where you wish to find updates and will be placed on the
internet option. Press the space bar to start this.

The software now checks the appropriate site for updates and usually gives
you a list of updates available. Normally there is just one in the list.

Select the update and tab to the update button and press the space bar.

The download will commence and you will receive a message when it is
complete. Click the ok button and your AVG should be up-to-date.

I have my AVG set to check for updates automatically every day.
