No problems with V7 and V9 together. That's what I have... and having tried V8 I've dumped it... bbut kept shared components just in case. I, too, need V7 for some applications, (and until yesterday was working with a 15GB drive as my big one.

Hi all,
At present, I have v.7 and v.8 mutations of the shark on my pc. I would like to try v.9 but have to keep v.7 installed because v.8 no longer works with my braille translation programme Braillmaster for Windows. I cannot keep 3 versions installed because there is only 15 percent free space left on my C drive. I am almost ashamed to say I run a 15 GB drive as my main drive because I haven't found anyone skilled and cheap enough to swap it with my bigger secondary drive. ]Sorry for rambling on[... My question is this: Can I have v.7 and v.9 working and uninstal v.8 or will this cause problems? If I uninstal v.8 do I uninstal shared components?
Any thoughts/comments welcomed.
Cheers now,

Marie
