Yes I recall perfectly why the program doesn't work, the dialogs are not read, not surprising I am told because the program is a DOS program that was adapted for Windows a long while ago and hasn't been upgraded for a long long time. The problem is that I do not use a braille translation program often enough to justify the cost of buying Duxbury, so, I'm stuck with it.

If you do, you may find other programs suddenly stop working. Hopefully JAWS 9 will work with your Braille translation program.
