There was a time when Avast was recommended for Jaws users, but later
versions lost the accessibility, and I think these days most people use
Microsoft Security Essentials.
There are certainly very good reasons for not going with the herd,
especially in an application like this, but I don't think Avast is any
longer the one.

Hello Kevin,
This application Is totally not accessible. Although JAWS reads out some of
the menu items on it, there is not much you can do with it. Buttons are not
labeled etc. You can use the JAWS cursor to some extent on the application.
There is no keybord menu that you can access using the alt key.
