I'm afraid I can't help you with this. I use Outlook, but may be others
using O E would have an idea.
I hope my comments re attachments will be helpful to your friend. Again, I
stress that I use Outlook, not Outlook Express, but I'm sure the fix is as
applicable.
It would be interesting to find out from anyone as to why Jaws 6 has had
this effect.

Thank you for your reply. I have a little sight so am able to see if an
attachment is there, but a friend of mine has only light and dark, more
dark, so is unable to pick up the attachments. I will pass on your
comments.
I have another query, all of a sudden Jaws is reading in Outlook express
collapse unread ... have you any suggestions on how I change this. I read
the message and deleted it and all the other unread collapses message.

Exactly the same thing happened to me. Very odd. Also Jaws 6 now no longer
tells me when I have replied to a message. Why this should have happened
baffles me.
I looked through the various options but couldn't find one to say
"Attachment" when a message had one.
Eventually, I turned on "Say all graphics" in the Outlook Config file, and
with my wife's help, located the graphic beside a message that had an
attachment, and labelled it, using Insert G.
But as to my other problem, caused, as I say, through installing Jaws 6, I
can't say why this happened.
But it was interesting to read you had the same problem.
