Hi Adrian. I'm not near a machine with word on it now to give you blow by blow directions but the option you want is sort option which is in the tables menu. Highlight what you want to sort and then sort it accordingly. This works even though you are not in a table. Go to the folder or list and then press Ctrl spacebar to uncheck the item. Press the applications key and go into the Arrange Icon submenu and enter on Name. I don't know what software you are using but this is Windows XP Try it anyway. Regards David have some files in which I need to keep a record in an alphabetical list. Some while ago, somebody asked the same question, and received an answer. I thought I still had a copy of that reply, but somehow, I am unable to find it. Please, can anyone remind me how to put things in alphabetical order? Any help will be very much appreciated.
