Adrian, I am not sure if this will do the trick. If it is in a word document, go to the list then in the menus go to the tables menu and arrow down to sort, enter on that then tab to where it says text and enter. This should put things in the order you want. However, I should have explained better in my initial Email, These lists are within either text or document files. Go to the folder or list and then press Ctrl spacebar to uncheck the item. Press the applications key and go into the Arrange Icon submenu and enter on Name. I don't know what software you are using but this is Windows XP Try it anyway. Regards David have some files in which I need to keep a record in an alphabetical list. Some while ago, somebody asked the same question, and received an answer. I thought I still had a copy of that reply, but somehow, I am unable to find it. Please, can anyone remind me how to put things in alphabetical order? Any help will be very much appreciated.
