I think this has something to do with Google, who seem to hang onto people's
data for a long time. If you have an account, log in with your e-mail and
password. Within the my account page you will find a link to web history.
You should then be able to find what you are looking for. There is a link
to remove things, so if you want to do that see what happens.

Hi Kevin, no I don't want to delete it, I had deleted the 3 days I had in my
history but this feature my husband was reading from had all the web sites
I'd visited for months and I want to know how to find that list.

I don't know the answer to your question but if you want to be certain
that you have deleted your browsing history then I find CCleaner very
good. It works with Internet Explorer (but not with FireFox) and you
can set it not only to delete all internet files but also overwrite
the data upto 35 times. Its a free product but the providers ask that
you make a donation if so minded.

Hope this is of some use.
