Yes, but I've no problem getting to it in the system tray Barry. I find NOD32
but then I can't find anything called Settings so that's me stymied from there.

Don't worry about it. I'll wait for sighted mouse clicker! I'm due to renew in
December anyway so maybe the newer version will be better.

Thanks again.

Best wishes,

Joan.,

  Hi Joan,

I don't' have an older company at had.

However, if you explore it's settings you'll find an option so end
automatically.

I think it'll be bring it up in sys tray, hit letter N to land on NOD32 in
the Tree View.

Then tab onto Settings. Then a settings button for your default profile.

then i think purely from a 2 year memory that it's a tab within a property
sheet.

  Sorry to be so void.

it is in there, it's a case of exploring.

Or you could try google. For something like, how to send files automatically
NOD32 v2.7

  Barry.

  Hi, Barry,

Well, maybe this is the problem. The version seems to be 2.70.32. I didn't
upgrade since I felt this was fine and didn't want to rock the boat. Maybe I
should have rocked it though.

I can get round the thing by using control +tab but can't find advanced
anywhere.

  Thanks for trying.

This balloon seems to come on immediately on boot-up and then again on the
hour a few times. Tried using alt +n to get to it but didn't work.

Maybe I'll just have to get someone sighted to be around on an hour!

  Best wishes,

  Joan.

    Joan,

In your System tray you want either NOD32 or Eset Security Suite.

If I'd been more awake i really should have asked you what version of NOD32
you are using. the latest 4.0?

Let's establish that first and we'll get this sorted for you.

    Barry.

    Hi, Barry,

Well, I can't even get to advanced. When I go via the system tray I have a
tree view with various things that I open. However, I don't know where to go
then as advanced doesn't seem to be an option.

Pest of a thing this is. Thank you for your suggestion. I probably have the
wrong settings so that's why I can't find advanced.

    Best wishes,

    Joan.

      Joan,

AFAIK you can not interact with the virtual window other than to read,
copy and paste from it. It puts the screen contents into a buffer which allows
you to move around it like a piece of text.

There is most likely a help balloon popping up with the message from
NOD32.

What I'd do is go into NODs settings, via the system tray by a left click
or return.

Arrow to Advanced and hit return.

Hit the letter a until you land on Alerts And Notifications.

Cursor down once to land on Threat Sense Early Warning System.

Tab to Advanced Setup and hit spacebar.

Make sure Submit Without asking is selected, OK and Apply all the
settings.

This way NOD will automatically send the files without even bothering you
about it.

      Regards,
      Barry.

      Hi, Folks,

I'm re-sending my original email as I haven't had any luck in solving the
problem myself.

Maybe someone on the list can help?

      Here's the original email:-

I keep getting the message from NOD32 that some of the suspicious files
require confirmation so they can be sent on or some such blurb. I use control
+jaws key +w and it says virtual window but I still have difficulty in finding
the message. Even when I do, I don't know how to click on the thing. Tried
entering but it didn't work.

I have found that NOD32 is picking up a lot of emails with viruses just
now. Glad it's doing that but wish I could sort the authorisation thing out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

      Best wishes,

      Joan.
