Shirley I have been further examine what young visitor did and in Deleted list they are not my missing sent items after all, they seem to be copies of Jaws list not deleted by me, as for the sent Items list that list is important because it is my letters sent in my case to Engineers and Lord only knows what, I have had another look and seems at bottom of Sent Items list is 4 days ago, and first out is today's. so what on earth did she do? she must have tinkered with the settings and they have gone for ever? I may have a chance to speak to her next Monday. I think I know what she may have been trying to do. In Outlook Express Storage capacity is limited and if a certain amount more than 2 Gb or 2000 two thousand that is kept in any one folder odd things happen. like all the content vanishing. however although my sent items on my Desktop where I am typing this to you is intact I have no idea what has happened to my Laptop the Sent items list should start as I had the Laptop cleaned off completely start about November last year, sent on Desktop will not have my own letters sent to Building Control Structural engineers and so on, she has a mobile but is never on. I shall never let a visitor turn Jaws off again! ----- Original Message ----- From: "shirley clow" <shirley.clow@xxxxxxxxxxxx>

hello Dorothy,I have found if I send anything to the deleted folder in OE, that I then want to keep. I just forward it to myself and it turns up in the Inbox. Also, the delete folder will only disappear of its own fruition if you have set it that way. I empty my delete folder periodically .Regards, Shirley.----- Original Message ----- From: "Tiddy Ogg" <oggy@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, March 27, 2008 10:44 AM Subject: [jaws-uk] Re: Vanishing emails in sent items listHighlight all those messages in the deleted folder you want to keep, push the applications key and select move from the menu, and then sent items in the sub-menu. -----Original Message----- From: jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Dorothy Ingram-Gorban Sent: 27 March 2008 10:27 To: jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [jaws-uk] Vanishing emails in sent items list Hi list A young girl whose Dad is going blind and needs more than a CCTV came for a while when she lived in this town to look at Jaws, I also showed her Kurzweil. As visitors are prone to say "how do I turn Jaws off, I reluctantly showed her and went to make her a drink and bite to eat, she goes into something called Beepo, as she has not a phone at home, I am the sole Administrator on my Pc, was there any risk in this? Next she altered Screamer Radio Georges valuable contribution to Jaws list, after weeks I have uncemented Virgin radio and got hang of station switching. However as she leaves she says I have tidied up your folders, I discover in Sent items on laptop only 3 days of Sent messages, I have finally found the missing ones in Deleted Items list, now can you tell me please what she did I am having a job contacting her I am using Outlook Express Jaws 9 K.11 Lunar 6 I like my sent items in strict date and time order descending. Also in the Deleted items list where they have gone, will they vanish after some days? Please can you tell me what to do.
