Marcia try doing the following:-
In Windows Live Mail:
1 Press ALT for the ribbon bar.
2 Press right arrow until you get to "View" ribbon.
3 Press down arrow to get to the lower ribbon.
4 Then press right arrow until you get to the "layout" ribbon group
and press ENTER on it.
5 Then press down arrow to get to "reading pane" and press ENTER to
activate the button.
6 Down arrow to "Off" and press ENTER on it.
If you still struggle after turning the reading pane off carry out steps 1
through 4 and then down arrow to "message listview" and use similar steps to
put this on "Single line view".

I have Jaws 16 windows 7 outlook 2010
For some reason since I installed jaws 16, jaws has stop reading the number
of unread e mails .
What setting do I have to change for Jaws to read them again.
