Kevin this has been covered earlier it is not hard but needs to be done
carefully. I cannot find the original. I am still using I.E8 on my Desktop
and laptop and I player with Real Player, that is not the problem on Desktop
I find typing a simple email I keep getting the Virtual cursor and have to
turn it off, sunning insert ann. Z, the message I read back before sending
is full of the word Edit every second. A very experienced Jaws User who has
used I.E8 since before the download told me on Friday he had to take it off
as his system crashed and he could not reload it., so looks like we are
biting the dust one by 1,I am sure you will get lots of help Dorothy

Hi all,
Sorry for the off topic posting but it is, in a way relevant in that
the reason for wishing to uninstall IE8 relates to the fact that it is
not wholly compatible with Jaws 10.
I've gone into Programmes and Features, on my Vista machine, however I
can not find IE8 to uninstall it. I've been into the update history,
for Windows Update and can find IE8 (e.g. the date on which I
downloaded it), there is, however no way of uninstalling it from
there. I've tried clicking on the link (which does, I asume lead to
the original update) but nothing happens.
Can someone please advise me as to how I can delete IE8.
