Real speech. , sorry about my last Post being mangled, we think it is
due to an update and Outlook express, not damage caused by the Trojan,
although it does date from a few days after that event. Re Daniel Mark Best
did say something about capitals not being right pitch, I am using Daniel
or emily at times in my Ocr. K.11 but the moment Daniel starts to take over
machine by not shutting up I switch Voices. the pitch effect doesnot
show up in Kurzweil, and the speech being clearer makes it a bit less
flexible but the programe is so simple to speed up or slow down. By the way
I wonder what "glass matering" is

Real speak voices do not respond to pitch adjustment this is by design.
They are after all recordings of real speech albeit chopped up and
turned into a phoneme database to be squirted out again as a TTS. In
essence it is a trade off between perceived quality as against outright
flexibility.
