MessaggioHi Robert I found Options and there was an option to show paragraphs, but this was already unchecked. So I done control/shift/8 and the announcement has gone. So until someone tells me what I might have done, I'm happy. Thanks. Where you should go on the 2007 ribbon I don't know but if you can find options under Tools that's the first place I would try. There is a toggle key (control-shift 8) but this switches both space markers and paragraph markers on and off, so it doesn't sound as though you've hit that by mistake. I hope I've been able to give you a lead to follow anyway. Best wishes Robert -----Messaggio originale----- Da: jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] Per conto di Barbara Wilson Inviato: venerdì 13 giugno 2008 15.32 A: jaws-uk Oggetto: [jaws-uk] New paragraph announcement in MS Word Hi all I am using XP Pro, JAWS 9 and Word 2007. I was working on a document yesterday and I'm not sure what I done, but now whenever I am reading with the cursors and I arrow over a blank line, JAWS announces "New paragraph". It is quite annoying, especially when there are several blank lines. Any ideas how to stop this announcement? Thanks.
