Hi, Yes some machines now are coming with Vista 64-bit. I think you need to find out the manufacturer of the machine (home built, or purchased from a store) to find out the best way of moving to the 32-bit version or downgrading to XP. The former is the most likely in my experience; it is difficult to get XP drivers for some hardware now, especially from some of the big names like Dell, HP etc. There is a 64-bit beta of JFW I believe, not sure how stable this is currently. Thanks. Andrew. The computer is running Vista and she also has Jaws 10 professional. When the volunteer tried to install Jaws it came up with a message that this version of Jaws could not run with Vista as it was a 64 bit machine. She has been in touch with Sight & Sound who said that Vista would work fine with her version of Jaws but no mention was made about bits. Her enquiry was made before she knew about the bits problem. She wants to know if Vista can be removed and replaced by XP? Any advice or information would be appreciated. Regards David
