Hi David, two points. Firstly the 64-bit issue. There is I believe a 64-bit edition of Jaws, although as yet only a beta. If she wants to get rid of Vista and go back to xp there wouldn't be a problem, providing that her hard disk doesn't have a recovery partition, as many OEM systems have. The computer is running Vista and she also has Jaws 10 professional. When the volunteer tried to install Jaws it came up with a message that this version of Jaws could not run with Vista as it was a 64 bit machine. She has been in touch with Sight & Sound who said that Vista would work fine with her version of Jaws but no mention was made about bits. Her enquiry was made before she knew about the bits problem. She wants to know if Vista can be removed and replaced by XP? Any advice or information would be appreciated. Regards David
