Hi Keith, this is how to do it. I've just checked it out. Bring up the list of links with insert f7. tab then spacebar then open your context menu either with the right mouse key or insert f10. The second option is save target as. Choose that, then just browse to the folder you want it saved in.

                   John.

Hi John,

Many thanks for your very swift response.

After highlighting the Download link, and bringing up the Edit menu, there
isn't an option to Copy to Folder.

Even when using the Context Menu Key, which gives some extra options, the
Copy to Folder option isn't there.

Sorry.

With best wishes,

Keith

Hi Keith, just a suggestion. You could try hightlighting the download link,
then choosing copy to folder from the edit menu, and saving it to a folder
of your choice.
                   John.

Subject: [jaws-uk] Problems with a link on a web page

Hello all,

Jaws 12, IE 8, XP Home.

Could someone please take a look at a web page for me?

The page is as follows:

www.allwithmyiphone.com

This page refers to podcasts done by a guy in the States about, well,
it's pretty obviously about the IPhone!!

Some way down the page, is a level 2 heading called Listen.

Below this is some flash, and then the word podcast, followed by a
download
link.

It is this download link that I am interested in.

Entering on it, using Jaws, starts playing a podcast.

However, my friend, who is using Window Eyes, enters on this link and
receives the message: Save or run.

In other words, Jaws isn't giving me the option to actually download a
file,
only play it.

Any help or ideas why Jaws is acting like this, and why two different
screen
readers, when activating the same link, achieve two different results.

With very best wishes,

Keith
