Ottawa Canada Dear Barbara: Try contacting Kingston and ask if they have a service to recover data from a broken USB pen drive made by them. They may or may be able to recommend someone else who does this sort of thing. A firm called Memo Fix in Toronto used to specialize in recovering data from sick hard drives, not sure if they offer this service for USB pen drives or not. Their phone number is: 905 660-4936. As I think you are in the USA, you might want to phone them and ask if they can recommend someone in the US that does this sort of thing. You may have grounds for a warranty claim on your pen drive with Kingston. Unfortunately often the value of the data on a drive is many times more valuable than the cost of the drive itself. Hope this helps. Brian Brian K.
