I am using JAWS 13 on a XP machine and office 2007. In outlook I organize my mail by received date. So the most current mail on top in the list view. JAWS reads everything correctly while navigating through the list by this I mean if the mail has attachments it reads so, if the mail has been replied to it reads so, if the mail has been forwarded it reads so etc. But there is a catch, when I open the mail and hit control f to forward the mail, instead of the cursors focus being on the to field of the message it is in the body. This also happens when I try to do a new mail. I can live with this if I was replying to an email. Buggy all the way and JAWS is hell in the contacts folder... I am not daring to go for Office 2010, it may just slow my machine down and give me a unexpected headache! As I said in my original message, I counted through my list in the In-box from top to bottom and only found the 6 unread messages for my wife. I went back into Outlook about 15 minutes ago and wanted to look at a message I had saved higher up in the list. I started working my way up from the bottom and yes, those missing 60 odd unread messages had re-appeared. Honestly, no wine, beer or long hours in the sun, those messages were not there when I checked from top to bottom of the list. So why should they be visible when checking in reverse. Life's not fair! I did not use my PC for a couple of days and when I came back to use there were nearly 200 messages waiting for me. I went through them all, deleted most, kept a few and only left about 6 messages unread as they were for my wife. On checking, using Ins+PgDn, to find out how many messages were left in my In-box I was amazed to hear from JAWS that I had 67 messages as were unread with a total of 163 messages in my In-box. I counted the messages and found there were only 103 messages, including the 6 messages that are for my wife's attention. I closed down the computer and restarted about 15 minutes later and checked again and got the same number of messages, 163 in the In-box. Lies, dam lies. Any theories?
