My drivers are exactly the same as my previous hard drive, I have a program that backed them up and re-installed them onto my new drive. Windows is updated to the latest version/patch/security update, I have nothing running or starting up at boot-up that is not necessary and I have disabled none required services via administrator tools. Nothing is different apart from re-installing jaws, but maybe the settings are different as they were tweeked quite some time ago and I'm sure it was something to do with flashplayer.

I wonder about installing drivers with the new drive, i know these are important, also on list recently was a long topic about computers running slowly and they said not to have too much running at start up. have you tried running a repair on Jaws? or reinstalling it. Belark Advisor is a neat little programme that will tell you what you have in the way of programmes running and what may not be up to date. I'm having problems with internet explorer being very slow. It seems to be constantly loading or re-loading something, I hear jaws saying 1% 100% etc. I lose the output of jaws unless I do a ctrl-d to minimise all and get back to the desktop. I've checked and re-checked my system and there is no spyware or viruses, so can it be something to do with ie loading flashplayer stuff and if so is there a way of configuring jawas to avoid the problem a long shot but I'm baffled at the moment.
