It could be an add-on of some kind that is Slowing IE down, if you have installed Skype, one add-on to look for and disable is called Skype Mastermind.

Subject: [jaws-uk] Jaws settings for internet browsing

Hi Folks

I've just replaced my hard drive an re-installed jaws. I'm having problems with internet explorer being very slow. It seems to be constantly loading or re-loading something, I hear jaws saying 1% 100% etc. I lose the output of jaws unless I do a ctrl-d to minimise all and get back to the desktop. I've checked and re-checked my system and there is no spyware or viruses, so can it be something to do with ie loading flashplayer stuff and if so is there a way of configuring jawas to avoid the problem a long shot but I'm baffled at the moment.

Thanks
Martin
