hi George
I thought I was only using Jaws.
I have Dragon Naturally Speaking on the computer but haven't ever used it, too
complicated for me at this time.
Is there a way of detecting what is running?
Rex

What program are you using to read the document? It sounds like something
else is running at the same time.

  George.

Jaws speech has started to stammer.
this is a particular problem when trying to navigate through a document,
either reading or composing.
it repeats the sound of first word or syllable, any thoughts?
  Rex
