I'm hopefully getting Jaws 9 as part of ATW provision but I only have
Jaws 8 at home at present which is where I'm getting laptop for. Sounds
irritating but I may just have to put up with it at home for a while
anyway...

It should work with JAWS 8, but I would definitely recommend JAWS
9.0.2169. When I bought my laptop a year ago running Vista Home
Premium, we were on 8 something or other, and it was largely ok, but had
a habit of timing out on occasions and then dropping into demo mode for
no reason. It came up with some sort of "error 6" message which it
tended to do while I was performing a task such as Scandisk or Defrag.
I haven't seen it since 9.0.2169, so I'm not sure what it was.

Quick question, I'm having to get myself a new laptop due to the
premature death of my Toshiba tekra. I'm currently on Jaws v8.02 which
according to the FS info should work ok with windows vista, is this
definitely the case, is there anything else I need to check?
