Hi George, Thanks for the suggestion. I'm still not sure what's going on, as after inserting the picture and reducing its size I am no longer able to arrow around to move between cells. Perhaps my arrowing around changes the picture somehow - because after I arrow a bit and JAWS says nothing I go to close the file and Excel asks me if I want to save the changes. So I tried again, and this time moved around the cells by using alt control arrows, but when I get to the cell where I inserted a picture JAWS says blank. Do you know whether JAWS would pick up that there is a picture there in Excel? Is there any other way I can tell the picture has definitely been inserted?
