Hi George, I contacted S & S and spoke with Tris. He said he had had a
similar problem with another user and is now sending the system information
file off to F.S. Hopefully they will come up with a solution as everything
checks out correctly - English, etc.

Thanks for your help and support.

Regards

Hi Val,

Are you using English Windows, or a foreign version?

If you do have standard Windows, then with that error message, I'd suggest
you call 01604 798070 (Sight and Sound) and bend someone's ear.

George.

Hi George and Pete,

Thanks for your support over the installation of V6. I took the plunge last
evening and it succesfully loaded. The only worrying thing was that I got a
message right at the end saying that it was not authorised for this
language. What should I do now?

Yes our Company's Firewall is very good - it seems to let all sorts of
'spam' through which are not very nice and there seems to be no way of
stopping them, but when it sees the authorisation information for JAWS it
deletes it. No rhyme or reason.

Regards
