Sorry Guys,
I didn't explain myself very well. I recently helped an NVDA user who
has one hand. He couldn't press Ins while pressing F12 twice quickly.
I did some Googling and it turns out in NVDA 2017.2 you can now lock
the Ins key. Start NVDA, turn on Sticky Keys (by pressing Shift 5
times), press Ins twice quickly to lock it, and then you can press F12
twice quickly to hear the date (and not the time). Press Ins to
unlock. Slow, but it works. I was just wondering how to do the same
in JAWS.
