Actually, I use a wireless keyboard with a sensor on the laptop so I can use
my pc's in the same way.

This I think is something to do with layering webpage windows on the
display, but I've no more ideas on how to get to the bottom of it.

Hi Amie,

The most certain way to bring up a links list in Jaws when on a website with
a laptop, is to use the caps lock key in place of insert.  You could try
using the insert key on the number pad of your laptop, but if that doesn't
work the caps lock method will certainly work.

I was helping my wife with something earlier using her laptop, and we had to
keep bringing up various links lists on websites and we used caps lock F7
consistently.

I do hope this helps.
