I can so relate to this. Travel sites, especially the date widgets, are an
accessibility nightmare. I'm yet to find 1 that works reasonably well with a
screen reader. Even the phone apps aren't very good with accessibility. Thanks.

Regards,
LU

Subject: [jaws-uk] Edit fields on some websites

Hi list,
Is there a way that Jaws can access edit fields that just seem to be missing?
Anyone out there who has a trick for me to try?

I’m talking about travel websites like Skyscanner.net, Jet2, Trip Adviser,
James Villas, etc. You just can’t enter the edit fields to put in your dates,
numbers etc to filter your search criteria. If you route jaws to PC you see
dates and numbers all mixed in with other text, it’s a nightmare.

Using the latest JFW 18, tried IE11 and Firefox, so frustrating. I wonder if
tweeking the screen resolution might help?

Cheers,
Robin Clayden
