For anyone wishing to check authorisation on the old Quela floppies the method
is as follows below.
To send authorisation information back to technical support please carry out
the following steps:

1 Disable any anti-virus software you have running and if running on a a
restricted NT4 or 2000 system it is advisable that this be carried out under an
administrative account profile.
2 Press Windows logo key to open the start menu.
3 Press letter S or select "Run" and press enter.
4 At the run prompt type "a:\hjauth.exe" and either click "OK" or press enter
to proceed.
5 Press tab to locate "avilable commands" radio buttons.
6 Use cursor keys or click "Available commands get authorisation information".
7 Press tab or click in edit box next door called parameters and type "a:"
8 Press tab to reach the "execute" button and press spacebar to activate it, or
click "execute" if you are a mouse user.
8 The disk will spin and you should see information appear in the "information"
panel.
9 If you are a Jaws user press tab until you hear information. The press
control+home to reach the top of the information panel.
10 Hightlight the information by pressing shift+down arrow or by using the
mouse.
11 Press control+C to copy this to the windows clipboard.
12 Now start an email client or a Notepad session and press control+V to paste
the information back.
13 Send an email back to technical support with this information in.

Regards.

(I changed the subject so maybe Tristram or someone will pick this up.)
Your floppy should be OK. I assume you have installed Jaws 4.5 and it asks
for the floppy... and then things foul up.

There is a way of finding out how many authorisation keys are left on the
disk, but I can't remember how.
Without resorting to dubious methods, (which won't work anyway if the count
is down to zero,) the only thing to do is, if you've no keys left on it, to
send it back to Sight and Sound, who will be able to reset it.

Trist, or someone: can you remember how to check the floppy count... I know
it's not as straightforward as it ought to be.
