Dave,

If you start the JAWS Script Manager, (insert +f2, then select script manager),
then hit ctrl-shift_d to bring up default.jss, you can find the script in
there, its called FhpBrailleActiveCursorTracking. I've just had a look at
this, and it appears to call another script with the same name which is
probably declared in another file specific to FHP (Papenmeier), possibly
fhp_brai.jss.

Regards,

Tim

Setting the cursor to blinking in the terminal emulator seems to have sorted
the problem. Would that all things could be sorted as simply!
Incidentally, where are the scripts for the braille function keys?
Many thanks,
Dave.

Hello Dave,

For what it's worth, on the point that Tom mentioned, at Work on one of the
emulators I have to press ALT+F9, when logging on, to change the shape of the
curser.

It may well help.

Regards

Chris

Hi,
I wrote about these a while back. Tim P replied, and like him, I am still using
my 2d-screen. However, I still lose focus when switching back to my terminal
emulator.
The sursor sits at the prompt, then appears to bounce away to a point about one
and a half lines above/below it.
despite pressing the f1 key on the braille display, nothing much seems to
happen.. the only recourse is to log off the session, and start again, a
nuisance.
When I press the f1 display, jaws says active cursor will not follow the
display. The manual implies that this is a toggle, but it doesn't appear to
work correctly.
Any ideas especially tim p?
Thanks,
Dave.
