Is it the full version of Acrobat with the accessibility features? Iain. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Colin Baxter" <C.R.Baxter@xxxxxxxxxx> To: "Jaws-Uk@Freelists. Adobe is still refusing to load and telling me that it has encountered a problem and must be closed down. As we use XP, My wife and I are able to have different settings. When she logged on as herself, minus Jaws and with all the Jaws unfriendly fancy bits, she found Adobe 7.0 running perfectly. Out of curiosity, she tried to run Jaws. Jaws promptly refused to load and she got a message advising her that version 7.0 did not support screenreaders. It seems astonishing if this is true. People on this list have recommended V7.0 and presumably they are Jaws users! Where's the catch?
