I believe that they are no longer developing it but I think you can still
download it and use it. I'm certainly still using it happily.

Qwitter is also pretty good (see http://qwitter-client.net/download.php).
Basically it sits in memory and allows you to avoid having to go to the
Twitter website every time you want to check your tweets or to send a new
one.
