I have the same problem with AVG 9 and I use System Access.

Ken,
I upgraded to AVG 9 a few weeks ago and have niggling problems ever since and
will be moving to another anti virus package as soon as I get the chance.
My problems include:
JAWS 9 suddenly stops speaking when I'm in the middle of doing something and I
have to press Alt+Tab about 3 times to get back to where I was before the
interruption
If I leave a document open and I leave the computer for a few minutes a dialog
box pops up asking for my e-mail address and password. Sometimes a sighted
member of my family can clear the dialog box, other times they have to close
the document I'm in and press the reset button on the computer.
I'm also cheesed off with the amount of time AVG takes to scan each morning
when I switch on, usually about 90 minutes. I can work while its scanning but
every task takes a lot longer.

All,
AVG keeps prompting me to update to the latest version. I think some of you
may have had a few difficulties with version 9. Is the general view that it is
OK, or should we stay with version 8 for as long as possible?
Is the main dialogue page on version 9 reasonably accessible?
Would appreciate any thoughts.
