The grave key + h is indeed in the default keyboard layout file. -----Original Message----- From: j-tools-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:j-tools-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Don Barrett Sent: Wednesday, October 08, 2008 9:25 AM To: j-tools@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [j-tools] Re: Grave key does nothing Ok, I used the Find command in the Keyboard Manager, and searched for the grave/accent key unshifted. I tried both as an active key and default key with no luck. I first chose the default keyboard (jkm) file assuming since the grave key would cut across applications, it whould be defined there if at all. Did I do this right? Thanks. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Pranav Lal" <pranav.lal@xxxxxxxxx> To: <j-tools@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, October 07, 2008 8:17 PM Subject: [j-tools] Re: Grave key does nothing Don, Check in the jaws keyboard manager. The grave accent key should be defined in there. I do not have J-Tools on this computer but will doublecheck in the office. Also, I assume you chose all the correct languages during installation? That is, J-Tools must be installed to jaws9. Pranav -----Original Message----- From: j-tools-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:j-tools-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Don Barrett Sent: Tuesday, October 07, 2008 6:00 AM To: j-tools@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [j-tools] Grave key does nothing I installed the demo of j-tools using jaws 9.2169 and restarted the computer. When I restarted, Jaws 10 beta 2 came up which I closed and then started jaws9 manually. It told me that J-tools was in demo mode. Whenever I hit the grave key, it just bonks as would any key that had no function. I even restarted the computer with jaws 9 automatically starting and was told that J-tools was in demo mode with two restarts having been accomplished. Still no j-tools info when I hit the j-tools key. Thanks for any help.
