Thanks; what should I look for in Key Manager; in other words, what should
the grave key be defined as? Thanks much.

Don,

Check in the jaws keyboard manager. The grave accent key should be defined
in there. I do not have J-Tools on this computer but will doublecheck in the
office.

Also, I assume you chose all the correct languages during installation? That
is, J-Tools must be installed to jaws9.

Subject: [j-tools] Grave key does nothing

I installed the demo of j-tools using jaws 9.2169 and restarted the
computer. When I restarted, Jaws 10 beta 2 came up which I closed and then
started jaws9 manually. It told me that J-tools was in demo mode. Whenever

I hit the grave key, it just bonks as would any key that had no function.
I even restarted the computer with jaws 9 automatically starting and was
told that J-tools was in demo mode with two restarts having been
accomplished. Still no j-tools info when I hit the j-tools key.

Thanks for any help.
