[j-say list] question on typing numbers in a document

Hi all,
Using j-say pro 9.0, jaws 12.0.525, and dragon naturally speaking 11, on a
gateway laptop running windows xp pro.
Here's the problem. When I type a number for example the number 19, j-say will
type the number 19. However, if I just say the number 1, j-say will type the
word won, w o n.
How can I get it to type single numbers? I should not have to say "number sign
1".
Anyone know to fix this?
